Very good little camera. Extremely light weight and fits easily into your pocket. The picture quality is fine though the zoom is not particularly strong.
You need to play with the settings to get the best out of it but once you master this, you should find it suitable for most occasions where taking along an SLR or larger digital camera isn't practical.
Overall excellent value as you would expect from a Nikon. |

Good little camera, does what it says on the tin.
Small compact and very light to use.
Controls very simple and easy to change from stills to video.
Only one thing would make it better is to have a viewfinder, as it is a little hard to see the screen in full sunlight, otherwise I am very happy with it, Goes well with my Nikon D200. |

The Nikon Coolpix is very good indeed for anyone who find technical details a hassle. Two booklets with supplied, I stuck with the smaller one for a few days and then had no problems at all. I wanted a very small, light camera with a metal case, easy to slip into a pocket. It performs beautifully and the prints are excellent every time, recharges quickly and keeps you informed when it needs re-charging. I would certainly recommend this camera and have done so to several who, having used far more expensive complicated cameras, all agreed mine was better and two have bought the same and the other two are contemplating changing also. Just about the buy one for mt son who also has an expensive camera but prefers mine !Nikon Coolpix S220 Digital Camera - Magenta (10.0MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5 inch LCD
Particularly nice for ladies who want a compact, slim easy to handle camera with clear instructions. |
