I already have a Nikon D80 and love the brand, but I wanted a convenient sized camera so I won't miss any snaps and that can also take video.
I wanted the highest amount of MPs and optical zoom - I would have loved 7 or 12 X optical zoom, but would have had to compromise camera size- I already have one big camera! but the 5x zoom is ample - didn't realise 5x got so close, the picture quality is so good that you can always crop in on your pc at home.
SUMMARY:If you are looking for a high quality, easy to use, easy to carry camera without paying for gimmicks like 'projector' etc. then this is for you. Battery power has been good too, only charged it once in two weeks(taken about 600 pictures)!
I also bought a 16gb memory card - it is more than ample, saving up to 2700 images at the highest resolution setting and over 10000 at the lowest resolution - so a bit of an overkill really:) |

| this camera fills all the spaces being a novice at photograph ihave been amazed at the vercitility and ease of this product and highly recomend it. |
